Dr Pipher is beyond amazing!!!! I was very nervous about the procedure and the possible outcome. Dr. Pipher explained everything very much in detailed before procedure started. He kept me so relaxed and comfortable that the procedure flew by, I could not believe he was done. I did not feel a thing, it was completely painless. Thank Heaven for Dr Pipher ! I said this 12 years ago when he saved a tooth when 3 other dentists wanted to pull it!! He is a miracle worker !!! Absolutely amazing job,it was for my child, who is quite nervous, and he was incredibly calming and performed amazing dental work in a kind, caring manner. It was a root canal so this was no small task, and in fact he reduced my child's anxiety for dental procedures going forward too. I couldn't picture it being done better

For a root canal, this was a great experience. Very friendly staff; soothing music and video. Dr. Pipher is an excellent endodontist who inspires great confidence in his patients. He had come back twice for followup to make sure everything was as it should be. There was no additional charge for this.

I am an extreme chicken when it comes to all things dental. I had never had a root canal before and was absolutely terrified of the prospect of having one... to the point where I was considering getting the tooth pulled, against the advice of everyone I consulted. I had a consult with an endodontist in another town who asked me what I was afraid of and then proceeded to tip me upside down in the chair like a bat so that I knew what I was getting into. As the blood rushed to my head, all I could think of was "NO WAY!!!!" But at the advice of a friend and a local oral surgeon's office, I decided to have a consult with Dr. Pipher before running for the hills. I cannot begin to express how wonderful Dr. Pipher was. From the very first moment in that consultation, he put me at ease. He appealled to my engineering background and explained to me with very sound logic exactly why I needed a root canal and should not get the tooth pulled... and he insisted that he would ensure that I would not be in any pain. Just listening to this man, reading his other client reviews, and knowing he's done something like 30,000 root canals gave me a great feeling of confidence in him. I knew if anyone could get me through this, he could. I went for the first appointment, still very nervous because I had been in excruciating pain with the tooth before, but much to my shock and amazement, I survived that first appointment without even the slightest twinge of pain! I didn't even feel the novocaine injections, and I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Pipher has a great way of putting a chicken like me at ease, and he is extremely professional and skilled in his field. This morning I went back for round 2, and even he was amazed at how much more relaxed I was. He joked with me that I must have taken something to premedicate myself, but the truth is I did not... what enabled me to relax and do so well today is simply his own skill and the trust I had in him after the first half of the root canal. I cannot thank Dr. Pipher enough for a truly wonderful root canal experience. If I ever need one again, there is no doubt that he'll be doing it... and I will give him the highest recommendation I can to anyone I know who might need one too!!!

Dr. Pipher is my hero. I had a pain and didn't know why. I also had a flight to LA. He got me in. He made it painless. He fixed my tooth! I have no idea why a root canal has such a bad rap. I'd take Dr. Pipher to fix my pain any day. He rocks!

I appreciated the way the doctor left me to imagine what he was doing in the drilling and grinding "tooth preparation" stage. In steps a patient may not have experienced before, such as laser-based sterilization of root area or diagnostic "beeper" to ensure all bacteria removed, doctor explained what was happening. This was done in language I could understand, as even the simplest question was not possible, because the procedure required "open-wide" mouth all the time...
